I recently used an anchor chart on making inferences, and let me tell you, it was incredibly successful!!! My students loved it, and it allowed them to get involved in the lesson, making the learning their own! It was also great because it gave them a visual to go by when reading a story! There will definitely be more anchor charts to come!
Allie, I think you did a great job on your anchor chart! I like how you drew the pictures and then below you wrote what the picture represents. This was another way to give your students a visual to remember what you mean by text features and schema. Great job!

Great job on your anchor chart! The picture you drew is an awesome visual representation that will really help your students understand how to make inferences! I just taught a lesson to my second grades on using context clues, I wish I had had an anchor chart similar to yours for my lesson!
